Since I was looking for a unit with a passive subwoofer output, the choice was not great. But the VSX-S520D convinced me. I connected it via network cable and operate the receiver mainly via the app. With the app, you can wake up the receiver from standby mode.
Rarely (about every 3 months), my device shows "Connecting..." or something like that on the display, then the power button has to be pressed for about 5 seconds so that the device switches off completely. After that everything is ok again. This will probably be solved with the updates. I was able to connect my old surround speakers and the passive subwoofer from LG without any problems, the sound is perfect. I would buy the receiver again immediately
