A barometric pressure sensor measures changes at the location and calculates a weather forecast from this data. The outdoor temperature and humidity are determined via a dedicated radio transmitter, while the indoor climate is measured using internal sensors. The integrated radio clock receives the time with second accuracy via the DCF77 signal from the atomic clock. Many useful features such as frost alarm, maximum and minimum values, and background lighting complete the functionality.
