I did not measure any difference between stock thermal paste and this

Might be because of my AIO came with a high quality paste, but the temperatures are exactly the same, both for idle and high load.

Pro

  • not worse than the stock paste on the AIO
  • enough for quite a few CPUs

Contra

  • hard to spread

    So which AIO do you use? As I'm also planning to upgrade and the Kraken X73 apparently already has some thermal paste on it.

    I have a Kraken Z73, so I don't recommend changing to this paste, unless you have a good reason. I changed because I had to install my AIO a second time (I had to remove and rotate the cooler from the CPU because the cables were blocking memory slots) and that's why I bought new paste.

    C'est sur des laptop équipés d'un petit système de refroidissement, d'un CPU @45 Watts et d'un GPU Nvidia, comme les Dell XPS 15 qu'il y a une réelle différence. On gagne jusqu'à +/- 8-10 degrés en pleine charge avec les ventilateurs qui tournent à fond.

    Avec un AMD 5950x et un gros radiateurs comme le Noctua NH-D15S, on ne constate en effet pas de changement. C'est juste que le NH-D15S est tellement énorme qu'il refroidit déjà hyper efficacement le CPU à lui tout seul...
