This Dell XPS 13 has replaced my Lenovo Yoga S240 => don't regret the decision.
Already the Yoga was very good - the XPS 13 does everything even better, although it is a bit smaller (but not the screen surface) and lighter:
the screen has enough surface (because the edges are so narrow) so that I don't have to use a permanent zoom (HiDPI settings) with the FullHD resolution, the battery lasts longer under Linux.nger (when idle, it consumes ~10% per hour), the "insert" key is dedicated (I no longer have to press the fn key to copy/paste with Linux yuhuuu).
Keyboard:
Is very good, especially for people who already use a flat keyboard (like Logitech K750).
Like on the Yoga, the arrow keys are a bit separated from the rest => very easy to find them without having to look at the keyboard (they are quite narrow though => takes some getting used to).
The XPS doesn't have dedicated Home/End/PgUp/PgDown keys (you have to press Fn+arrow keys): could get used to Home/End immediately, for PgUp/PgDown I still need a bit of time - in any case they are all logically placed.
The Enter key is quite narrow - I often land on the edge.
Is very quiet - with all 2 physical CPU cores (4 hyperthreading CPUs) under load for 5 hours I could barely hear the fan.
Linux:
Most important is the kernel: with at least 4.4.x there are no problems.
I have posted my experiences here (in my case: Gentoo distribution): http://www.segfault.digital/it...
Edit:
Would downgrade my rating by 1 star if I were allowed to edit my comment (didn't find an "edit" button).
Reason: "Adaptive Brighness Control".
