I've been looking for an adapter that doesn't reduce the volume on my HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro for a long time. I have finally found it! The HUAWEI adapter reduces the volume like crazy - so I can't recommend it. Unfortunately, these things are still way too expensive! They force everyone to switch to mobile phones that don't have a connection in order to pull even more money out of their pockets with things like this...
