It's not the size that matters but it looks good and feels better when you press a big light switch. The click sound when pressing sounds better than with a small switch.

Actually, I've already had two loose contacts with a 3-socket light switch, so I only use single sockets now. I like a large light switch better, which is why I bought this product.

It is already the third light switch with socket that I have installed. A layman like me can't do anything with the instructions! Only an electrician understands this! I need to know which colour of wires to put in which hole! Unfortunately that wasn't easy even with the help of the internet! I burnt 8 fuses the first time before it worked. The problem was that I had extra colours and wires and that the socket passed the current on to another socket. Eventually I did it and everything worked!

The first time it was a lot of work and a lot of time (a lot of work, time and freaking out). But I didn't want to pay CHF 150 or more and sacrifice a day's holiday for an electrician who would only install a light switch with a socket for me! I was able to learn something in the process and at least I didn't do anything stupid during that time.

The most important thing is, of course, to switch off the power first and then check it with a phase tester before you start working. more
