The Airblade technology and the latest Dyson Digital Motor V4 generate fast air streams. The Dyson Airblade dB hand dryer is the fastest method for drying hands. It fits into all washrooms and is specifically recommended for places where noise levels must be kept to a minimum. With Airblade technology, air flows at 690 km/h through openings that are only 0.3 mm wide. The high speed of the air inevitably creates noise. Dyson engineers have managed to reduce the noise level produced by the air streams by redesigning the shape of the exit openings. It is 50% quieter. Other hand dryers are unhygienic. They do not filter out bacteria or viruses from the washroom air. They suck in contaminated air, which then comes into contact with the hands. The Dyson Airblade dB hand dryer uses an H13 HEPA filter. 99.9% of bacteria and viruses are removed from the washroom air, ensuring that hands are dried with clean air rather than contaminated air. Other hand drying methods incur higher operating costs, as paper towels require regular refilling and disposal.
