With the latest chipset generation, the GS1920 series offers various security features: Virtual LAN (VLAN) can be configured based on port or MAC addresses. Additionally, predefined guest, voice, and private VLANs are available. To further enhance network security, traffic on the GS1920 series can be filtered. Based on Layer 3 and Layer 4 policies (ACL) and supporting multiple RADIUS and TACACS+ servers, the switches facilitate secure authentication for larger networks. Ready for modern triple-play networks, the new GS1920 series provides a wide range of QoS features. Whether data, VoIP, or even IPTV applications are needed, it doesn't matter: policy-based Class-of-Service ensures high transmission quality. Furthermore, various multicast options such as IGMP Snooping v3, Fast-Leave, and MVR guarantee a reliable network for real-time traffic like IPTV and/or IP surveillance.
