They are available in four sizes - Mini, Small, Medium, and Large - and are compatible with all Zeiss lenses from the Zeiss Otus, Zeiss Milvus, and Zeiss Loxia product families, as well as other lenses with the appropriate diameter.

The Zeiss Lens Gears are made from lightweight and durable aluminum and can be locked in place by simply twisting two rings against each other - no tools are required. Screwdrivers are a thing of the past. The standard pitch of 0.8 allows for the use of a follow-focus control with previously unmatched precision for perfect focus pulling.

All Zeiss Lens Gears feature a replaceable rubber lining on the inside, known as GumGum. It can be optionally glued on the inside, making each Zeiss Lens Gear even more versatile as it fits a wider range of lenses. With the four Zeiss Lens Gears in Mini, Small, Medium, and Large sizes, you can cover all lens diameters from 62 to 91 millimeters. The hardened surface coating of the Zeiss Lens Gears ensures long durability, even under demanding conditions in professional use.
