Noise is a bothersome side effect that is caused not only by departing airplanes at the airport and passing trucks in traffic. Many people strive to create a quiet environment in their own homes to find relaxation. Unfortunately, in many cases, the PC contradicts these efforts and can be quite noisy during operation.

The sources of noise are primarily all rotating components, especially fans and hard drives. These should be decoupled, and if necessary, the speed should be reduced. Many cases support these measures and already come with appropriate features from the factory.

Additionally, insulation can help reduce external noise even further. This modified version of the Corsair Graphite 780T combines both approaches and comes with pre-installed insulation.

The uniqueness of this configuration lies in the fact that, in addition to the pre-installed insulation mats, extra insulation material is included. This is also precisely cut and allows for additional sealing of other case parts. As a result, you have the choice of how much insulation you want to install to achieve an individual optimum of cooling and noise reduction.
