Product details
Outstanding protection against falls. The Crystal Palace Folio case combines elegant, transparent design with excellent drop protection features. The case is reinforced with D3O Crystalex™. Thanks to the chosen material, the case can demonstrate a drop test that guarantees protection for the device from falls of up to two meters in height. The material has been designed to resist yellowing and color transfer, remaining crystal clear.
D3O® technology. D3O is a British company focused on developing technologies for shock absorption and damping. The technology used leverages the properties of an ultra-lightweight elastomer that behaves like a non-Newtonian fluid. This means that this substance is liquid at rest and solidifies under mechanical impact, behaving like a solid object. After a period of rest, it "loosens" again. The impact energy is distributed across the individual molecules, which use it to solidify.
Folding stand. The case is thin and lightweight, adding no unnecessary bulk to the device. It also features a folding stand, allowing you to position your device ideally for watching videos or for video calls, for example.
Sustainability. The case is partially made from recycled plastic, enabling Gear4 to offer you a path to sustainability without compromising on protection or style.
