Design & Display
The Xplora X6 Play features a robust, child-friendly casing available in Black, Lime, or Pink, which can be customized with interchangeable loops and frames. The 1.52" (approximately 3.9 cm) colored TFT touch display (resolution approximately 400 × 360 pixels) is bright and sharp – ideal for small hands.

Communication & Safety
The watch allows phone calls and the exchange of text and voice messages only with pre-approved contacts. GPS tracking, definable safety zones, and an SOS button ensure constant accessibility and safety. In school mode, calls and messages are disabled, but emergency calls remain active.

Camera & Activity Tracking
With the 5 MP camera, children can take and save photos and short videos. An integrated pedometer encourages daily movement through a reward system ("XCoins") that rewards activity in the Xplora app.

Performance & Battery Life
Inside, a fast quad-core processor (approximately 1.2 GHz) works with 8 GB of internal storage (for up to 10,000 photos) and 1 GB of RAM. According to the manufacturer, the 880 mAh battery lasts up to 72 hours on standby or up to 48 hours with active use.

Connectivity & Features
The X6 Play supports 4G (also via eSIM), Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi for software updates. Features like an alarm clock, reminders, and various watch faces and ringtones complete the package. The accompanying parent app allows for the management of all settings and contacts.
