12-Liter Press Cloth for the Fruit Press

The press cloth is designed for the maximum capacity of the fruit press of 12 liters.

Please observe the rules for using the berry press: Depending on the mash (finely crushed fruit), a proper pressing process can be quick and easy. Each type of fruit requires its own method of preparation.

Grapes should be crushed beforehand. This can be done with a fruit mill or by hand. Pome fruits must be cored before pressing. The amount of juice yield depends on the water content of the fruit and not on the operator's effort. With proper preparation of the fruit, it can be easily pressed with one hand.

With all presses of this type, it is not possible to press whole fruits. A mash (finely crushed fruit) must be produced; otherwise, a successful pressing process is not possible. A wine or fruit press should not be compared to a juicer. Both products operate completely differently. For example, grapes cannot be processed in a juicer because the seeds are crushed, releasing bitter substances. Only with a fruit press do the seeds remain intact, allowing the juice to be processed into wine.

Apples, pears, and other types of fruit must be processed into mash before pressing. Whole, half, and quartered fruits cannot be pressed. Spindle presses are not designed for that.
