Wiltec Airbrush Gun Type 134 double action function

This professional airbrush gun is not only suitable for professional users. Thanks to the nozzle diameter of 0.3 mm and the large paint cup, this model is particularly suitable for large and even paint applications as well as coarser pigmented paints and varnishes. The paint/air mixture is regulated by the double-action function. The desired paint flow rate can be set using the adjustment screw at the end of the handle.

Explanation of the double action function (DA)

An airbrush is described as single-action if only the air volume is regulated with the operating lever and the paint volume with another control. With a double-action airbrush, this is done with a lever: the air supply is regulated by pressing the lever down, and the paint quantity is varied by pulling the lever back (at the same time). Pressing the lever downwards causes the compressed air to flow out of the front of the needle cap. Only when the operating lever is pulled backwards does paint emerge from the nozzle and is sprayed onto the object by the compressed air. The further back the operating lever is pulled, the more paint is sprayed. This requires some practice, but there is nothing to stop you from regulating the amount of air via the compressor, so it is advisable to use a double-action airbrush from the outset. The maximum amount of paint can be adjusted at the back using the knurled screw (paint quantity regulating screw).
