Wiltec Airbrush Gun Type 131 double action function

This professional airbrush gun is suitable not only for professional users. The model comes with a nozzle (nozzle diameter of 0.3 mm) and is thus also suitable for coarser pigmented colors and paints. Thanks to the generously sized paint cups with a capacity of 20 or 40 ml, larger projects and priming are no problem. The regulation of the paint-air mixture is done through the double-action function. The desired paint flow can be adjusted with the adjustment screw at the end of the grip.

Our airbrush guns offer an excellent spray pattern and are made entirely without plastic parts, allowing for complete disassembly for easier cleaning. The connection to a compressor can be made either directly at the gun via a 9.51 mm (⅛″) external thread or through the included adapter for 4 mm air hoses.

Explanation of the Double-Action Function (DA)

Single-action airbrush refers to a setup where the air volume is controlled by the operating lever and the paint volume is regulated by another control. In a double-action airbrush, this is done with one lever: pressing down on the lever regulates the air supply, while pulling the lever back (simultaneously) varies the paint volume. When the operating lever is pressed down, compressed air flows out at the front of the needle cap. Only by pulling the operating lever back does paint emerge from the nozzle and is sprayed onto the object by the compressed air. The further the operating lever is pulled back, the more paint is sprayed. While this does require some practice, nothing prevents you from regulating the air volume via the compressor, making it advisable to use a double-action airbrush from the start. The maximum paint volume can be adjusted at the knurled screw at the back (paint volume adjustment screw).
