Why! Laptop NS51AU-i5 S Dual-Boot
15.60", 500 GB, 16 GB, CHProduct details
The 15-inch model NS51AU from why! is the ultimate all-round computer. With a screen diagonal of almost 40 cm, it can handle everything. The latest generation processor (Raptor Lake) and the new generation of DDR5 memory provide performance that meets the demands of the next 10 years more than adequately. Weighing significantly under 2 kg and featuring a high battery capacity, it is the ideal computer for on-the-go use. The i5-1335U processor is equipped with an Intel® Iris Xe Graphics card. The "S" configuration includes 16 GB of RAM (expandable to 64 GB) and a 500 GB SSD with the option to add a second drive of up to 2 TB. The why! computers are repairable, and spare parts will be available for 10 years after the product launch. To counteract software obsolescence, this model is pre-installed as a dual-boot version with the Linux distribution Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and Windows 11. This package provides the opportunity to explore Linux and the numerous compatible free software programs that correspond to the most commonly used office applications. If needed, it is also possible to work with Windows; you just have to make your choice at startup. Operating your computer for 10 years halves the environmental impact of its production, which accounts for 80% of the total environmental impact.
