The R 1900 WPL is equipped with a 166 mm woofer and a coaxially arranged tweeter. The built-in light source (230 V) provides even illumination of the sphere. It is mounted on a plate that can be screwed to the ground, serving as a theft deterrent. The R 1900 WPL is also available as an active speaker with Bluetooth/Wi-Fi receiver and a DSP (Digital Signal Processor). A proprietary algorithm has been developed for the DSP chip, which performs dynamic sound adjustment within the speaker. This technology, WHD Adaptive Sound Plus, ensures that listeners experience high-quality sound even at low volume levels.
