The M8 and M12 sensor/actuator cables are supplied with a nickel-plated brass nut as standard. However, if you have a particularly extreme application in mind for our products, we can also offer you a variant with a plastic nut. This allows the use in environments where cables with nickel-plated M8 and M12 nuts would oxidize.
