The Ultrastar DC HC300 series meets today’s data center requirements with storage capacities ranging from 4 to 10 TB and higher performance than previous generations. The drives in this product line are suitable for various applications, such as traditional storage arrays, rack-mounted storage enclosures, server-based distributed storage systems, distributed and scalable computing infrastructures, as well as block and file storage architectures. They are offered with 7,200 RPM and SATA (6 Gbit/s) or SAS interfaces (12 Gbit/s), along with Advanced Format 4Kn and 512e. The 4 TB models also have a 512n version available to support older systems with a native block size of 512 bytes.
