Protection against UV light and pollution
UV filters are effect filters that effectively block ultraviolet light (a natural component of sunlight), contributing to better image quality. Especially in outdoor photography, colors are rendered more vibrant and clearer. Distant shots, often taken in mountainous areas, do not get as lost in haze as they would without a UV filter. Additionally, UV filters reliably protect your lens from dust, splashes, and scratches on the front lens. The UV filter can remain on your lens year-round and is easy to clean.

Excellent quality and craftsmanship
The UV filter boasts outstanding optical properties. The high-quality, polished filter glass is coated with a 16-layer multi-coating (DMC - specially designed for digital cameras). This ensures that the performance of your lenses is not diminished during use: 99% of incoming light still reaches the lens. With a height of only about 2.5 mm, the filter is particularly thin, lightweight, and compact. The glass is housed in a precisely crafted metal frame. The knurled frame makes the filter particularly easy to grip and remove when needed. The included storage box protects it from damage during transport.

Nano-coating for better photos
Two layers of nano-coating ensure clear visibility: dust has little chance to settle on the filter, and water and oil simply bead off. Unlike unsealed glasses, droplets do not run across the filter glass like on a windshield and need to be wiped away; instead, they remain semi-rounded and run off independently.
