With this boom stand from walimex you receive a professional and very comfortable boom stand with a simple and extremely comfortable handling. It also offers excellent stability when assembling medium-heavy
equipment. The maximum load capacity of 6 to 4 kg (depending on the extension length) is achieved by the voluminous telescopic tripod segments with diameters of 35 and 32 mm. Two telescope segments ensure optimum stability and fast handling of the boom, one of which can be pulled out. This allows this gallows to be extended to a length of 120 to 220 cm. The telescopic arm has a variable fastening system.
An enormous increase in comfort is offered by the extremely convenient mounting of your equipment on the telescopic arm of this gallows tripod. The professional mounting adapter is easy to remove from the bracket and you can mount your equipment here using a 5/8 inch spigot (16 mm spigot) or a 1/4 and 3/8 thread. This walimex Deluxe Boom Tripod has 3 openings in which the mounting adapter can be fixed. This means that your equipment can be placed both on the front and on the right and left sides.

By the variable angle adjustment of the telescopic arm you can move your equipment in seconds both near the ground and over the heads of your models. The boom is attached to the supplied lamp tripod by means of a very robust and practical clamp bracket.
The metal holder is extremely solid and has two practical and generously designed fastening levers. The holder allows the boom to be connected to stand tubes from 22 to 35 mm in diameter. Thus the boom can be attached to any central column element of the included tripod. The tripod tubes are reliably protected from scratches by the integrated plastic inserts. The bracket allows the boom to be adjusted 360 degrees - a simple and practical solution. The spring damping of the central column elements of the tripod ensures comfortable handling and the safety of your assembled equipment.
Thus your photo and video equipment such as (studio) flash units, (LED) lamps, softboxes, reflectors etc. is held very securely and the light can be precisely aligned.
