Continuous light sources are suitable for both photographers and videographers, as they allow for direct assessment of light distribution and intensity. Constant light can also be easily integrated with other light colors as well as artificial and natural light sources, since the photographer or videographer can flexibly adjust the relationship to ambient light. Continuous light is very well suited for beginners, as its effects are easier to evaluate. The artist can work dynamically and playfully, fully focusing on lighting. Shots with a wide aperture, such as portraits, atmospheric still lifes, and dynamic video sequences, are easily achievable. Daylights generate bright, white light similar to daylight. With a CRI value of over 83 and a color temperature of approximately 5400 Kelvin, our Daylights ensure excellent color reproduction. To model the light according to the situation, we offer a range of light modifiers for our Daylights that provide the desired effect depending on the scenario. The fluorescent lamps are not adjustable in intensity, which is why we have developed a step-based solution for systems with multiple lamps, allowing lamps to be turned on or off as needed. Fluorescent lamps are significantly more efficient than traditional incandescent bulbs; the wattage alone says little about the actual light output. Therefore, the performance of our Daylights is specified in lumens (lm), lux, and as a comparison value to conventional incandescent bulbs. The daylight spiral lamps of the Daylights are designed to be screwed into a standard E27 socket. Additionally, the special E27 bases allow for the construction to be mounted on a tripod and various light modifiers to be attached.
