The potential multiplication terminal is designed to provide the 0V potential for the outputs in combination with the 16-channel output terminal 750-1504 (also suitable for 8-channel output terminals with a single-wire connection).

The use of additional terminal blocks is therefore unnecessary.

The potential multiplication terminal receives the 24V supply voltage and the 0V potential through the internal power contacts of a preceding bus terminal. By snapping the bus terminal into place, an automatic connection of the potentials to the subsequent terminals is established via the power contacts. The 0V supply is available at all sixteen Push-in CAGE CLAMP connections for the field level, and the 24V potential is passed on without its own use.

A tool with a 2.5mm blade is required to open the Push-in CAGE CLAMP connections.
