The Industrial-Managed-Switch 6-Port 1000BASE-T 2-Slot 1000BASE-SX/LX MAC Security Der 852-1328 is an industrial, configurable Ethernet switch featuring 6 ports for 10/100/1000BASE-T and 2 SFP-1000BASE-SX/LX ports (SFP modules are available as options). Data encryption is implemented according to IEEE802.1AE (MAC Security Standard) for communication over the SFP slots (Port 7 and 8). This functionality, combined with its compact size, makes this product suitable for retrofitting network security in the ongoing operation of automation systems. The customer application remains unchanged. Optional authentication for additional network participants is performed port-specific according to IEEE 802.1X and RADIUS server. The switch has a robust housing and a redundant power supply.
