Vq Models Junkers JU 52

The Junkers JU 52 is affectionately known as "Aunt JU" and originates from the Junkers Flugzeugwerke AG in Dessau. Originally designed as a cargo aircraft, the JU 52 was later predominantly used as a passenger plane. Characteristic of the aircraft are its three engines and the corrugated metal skin. The JU 52 model can be equipped with either one large engine or three smaller ones. In the version with just one engine, the two outer propellers rotate freely.

In 2016, the Junkers JU 52 was awarded "Model of the Year" in the Electric Flight category by the magazine FlugModell.
