This pedal produces a powerful and assertive metal sound. It features 4 tone controls with a lot of expressive potential, ranging from "tightened," distorted sounds for riffs to massive lead sounds.

GAIN control: Determines the distortion intensity.
VOLUME control: Determines the output volume.
TREBLE control: Determines the amount of high frequencies. Turning the control to the left makes the sound rounder and duller. A turn to the right produces a brighter sound.
MIDDLE control: Determines the amount of mid frequencies. Turning the control to the right emphasizes the mids, while turning it to the left creates the well-known "scooped" sound.
BASS control: Determines the amount of low frequencies. Turning it to the left makes the sound thinner, while turning it to the right results in a more powerful sound.
TIGHT control: Determines the influence of distortion on the bass component of the signal. This setting has a significant impact on the distortion sound. Especially with palm muting, it helps achieve a more defined sound.
