Votronic 3073 Battery Protector 40 Motor 40A 12V Battery Monitor

The VOTRONIC Battery Protector 40 Motor is connected between the supply battery and the consumer and is suitable for all types of lead batteries (acid, gel, AGM) and brands. It protects the battery from dangerous deep discharge as well as the consumers and equipment from under- and over-voltage, and can also serve as a remote-controlled main battery switch, controlled by an external switch. Compared to the "normal" Battery Protector 40, the motor version switches off at under-voltage at 11.8 V. It automatically resets to normal operation as soon as the voltage rises back to, for example, 12.5 V due to battery recovery or brief charging. The shutdown can also be manually overridden using the "EMERGENCY ON" function. The Battery Protector 40 can be remotely controlled via the "Sensor +" terminal with a simple switch (1-pole ON/OFF), effectively turning it into a powerful main battery switch. The EMERGENCY ON function can also be controlled remotely.
