The VAC Triple 60-15/30 Battery Charger from Votronic (MPN 0666) consists of a 45A VAC mains charger and a 60A VCC charging converter, including a Battery Trainer. Compared to the VBCS Triple, it features an intelligent current distributor instead of the integrated MPP solar charge controller, which divides the charging current from the mains charger and supplies the starter battery with a charging current of 15 A.

It provides a solid power supply for starter and supply batteries. This way, higher loads on the starter battery (entertainment systems, emergency lights, sirens, etc.) can be buffered, ensuring the vehicle's starting capability is maintained over time. When the high charging current for the starter battery is no longer needed, the current distributor makes it available to the onboard battery.
