Victron Energy MultiPlus Compact

The Victron Energy MultiPlus Compact 24/1600/40-16 230V VE.Bus inverter and charger combines a powerful sine wave inverter, an advanced battery charger with adaptive charging technology, and a fast AC transfer switch in a compact housing. This model delivers 1600 VA (1300 W) continuous power with 3000 W peak power at a 24 VDC input and 230 VAC output. The charger provides 40 A charging current for house batteries with an additional 4 A for starter batteries. The robust steel and aluminum housing with IP21 protection ensures basic protection against solid objects and dripping water. The unit features a maximum transfer current of 16 A and is designed for battery capacities between 200-400 Ah. The inverter-charger includes PowerControl functionality to optimize limited generator or shore power supply, as well as PowerAssist technology, which supplements insufficient power with battery energy during peak loads. It supports high inrush currents for devices such as power tools and lighting systems. The automatic transfer switch operates in less than 20 milliseconds, providing uninterrupted power supply for sensitive electronic devices. For installation, 25 mm² battery cables with a length of 1.5 meters are included, suitable for cable lengths of up to 5 meters. The MultiPlus Compact supports parallel operation of up to six units for increased power capacity and three-phase configuration when combining three identical units. Additional features include a search mode for reduced idle current consumption, a programmable relay for alarm functions, and compatibility with Victron Remote Management for local or remote monitoring via various communication interfaces.
