It has never happened to us that an external drive actually works faster than promised on the packaging. However, this is the case with the Verbatim Metal Mini External SSD. Instead of USB 3.2 Gen2, this external NVMe SSD even fulfils double the speed with Gen2x2 - albeit not with new speed records...
