Lightweight Bicycle Backpack

Makes every mountain tour a pleasure: The very lightweight Uphill 8, weighing only 340 g, is minimalist while ensuring a high level of comfort. The asymmetrically opening main compartment offers a volume of 8 liters. With a flat, stretchy mesh pocket and a zip-secured side pocket, you can always access your phone or snack without having to take off the backpack. The multifunctional cord system on the front has three functions: storing a jacket when the backpack is full, compressing the depth when carrying less gear, and providing a way to attach trekking poles. To ensure good ventilation for the body, we have integrated 3D mesh on the back and shoulder straps. Reflective elements, a hydration system outlet, and a rain cover in the pack bag complete the features of this versatile backpack. All materials have a high recycling content. The ultra-light, silicone-treated main material of the backpack is produced using a certified mass balance process, where pyrolysis oil is obtained from old tires and used in conventional polyamide production. This chemical recycling saves up to 60% CO2. Additionally, this product is climate-neutral: emissions from materials, manufacturing processes, and shipping have been comprehensively assessed and systematically reduced. Currently unavoidable emissions have been fully compensated through the independent non-profit organization "myclimate." The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for an environmentally friendly, functional product made from sustainable and bluesign certified materials.
