It supports USB 3.1 / USB 3.2 Gen 2 and is backward compatible with USB 3.0 / USB 2.0. It features a Type-C connector for the computer. Installation is simple - just plug the converter cable with the Type-C connector into the USB port of the PC and the RJ45 connector into the corresponding socket of a switch or network outlet - done. It supports Gigabit Ethernet with auto-sensing, MDI/MDIX, and half/full duplex operation. Power is supplied via the USB interface. It is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 and Mac OS X.
