The UniFi UAP-AC-LR operates without an additional power supply and is powered passively via 24 V and now also via 48 V active 802.3af PoE over Ethernet. Suitable PoE switches can be found in the accessories. The UniFi UAP-AC-LR access point is suitable for setting up large Wi-Fi networks, allowing you to connect different devices using Wireless Uplink. Wi-Fi standard

Wi-Fi frequency band

The frequency band of a WLAN signal describes how many 2.4GHz or 5GHz signals the router can send simultaneously.

A router that uses dual- or even tri-band technology can better distribute the load in the network and thus rarely reaches its limit in terms of WLAN speed.
