Product details
It still offers connections for wired devices through two ports, one of which even provides PoE according to 802.3af. The access point operates with the fast 802.11ac standard and offers a simultaneous dual-band with up to 450 Mbit/s on 2.4 GHz and 1300 Mbit/s on 5 GHz.
Since multiple devices can connect to each other via wireless uplink, the UniFi access points are particularly well-suited for setting up larger WLAN networks. The connected APs communicate on a separate band, eliminating the disadvantages of traditional repeaters. Only one of them needs a LAN connection. A wired UniFi uplink supports up to four wireless downlinks per frequency band.
Through the UniFi Controller software, you can manage all of your access points in your network, gain information about system traffic, and manage additional APs. The UniFi Controller is also equipped with hotspot functionality, providing your customers with extensive options and capabilities: integration for credit card payments, voucher-based authentication, hotspot manager for creating vouchers, and much more. The software's dashboard also gives you an overview of all important and current information regarding your network at any time.
The UniFi UAP-AC-IW-PRO can be operated without an additional power supply, with power supplied via 802.3at PoE+ over the Ethernet cable.
