The UniFi UAP-nanoHD is equipped with the Wave-2 standard and achieves speeds of up to 1733 Mbps on 5 GHz and 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. With 4x4 MU-MIMO and the popular UniFi Controller software, it is the ideal high-performance access point for a scalable, centrally managed network. The non-dedicated UniFi software controller can be deployed on-site via a PC, Mac, or Linux computer, in a private cloud, or through a public cloud service. The UniFi nanoHD AP features a refined industrial design and can be easily mounted on a wall or ceiling using the included mounting hardware. It has an especially slim form factor, measuring only 16 cm in diameter. With the individual skins (available separately), the AP blends even more discreetly into any environment. It can be operated with an 802.3af PoE-compliant switch and is compatible with all UniFi PoE switches and 48V PoE adapters. UniFi is a professional WLAN controller solution that enables centralized management of large wireless networks. In addition to creating so-called vouchers that allow time-limited access to the internet, it includes security-relevant features such as a walled garden, guest network isolation, VLAN, and detailed analytics capabilities. Through the software dashboard, you always benefit from an overview of all important and current information about your network. The original 802.11ac Wave-1 SU-MIMO (Single-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) technology allowed previous generation access points to communicate with only one client at a time. The new 802.11ac Wave-2 MU-MIMO (Multi-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) technology now enables communication with multiple clients simultaneously, which has a very positive impact on WLAN performance and user experience.
