The SHD (Secure High Density) model has been specifically designed for highly sensitive data connections. A dedicated security radio constantly scans the frequency spectrum environment, checking the network for potentially harmful activities as well as optimal network performance. This way, the Access Point also serves as a Wireless Intrusion Prevention/Detection System (WIPS/WIDS) across all channels.

Through the UniFi Controller software, you can manage all Access Points in your network and gain detailed insights into system traffic. The UniFi Controller is also equipped with hotspot functionality, providing your customers with extensive options: integration for credit card payments, voucher-based authentication, a hotspot manager for creating vouchers, and much more. The software's dashboard also gives you an overview of all important and current information regarding your network at any time.

The original 802.11ac Wave 1 SU-MIMO (Single-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) technology only allowed previous generation Access Points to communicate with one client at a time. The innovative 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO (Multi-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) technology now enables simultaneous communication with multiple clients, significantly enhancing the user experience.
