As the next generation of 2x2 MiMo sector antennas, the airMAX sector antennas feature significant advancements in scalability, noise shielding, and beam performance, complementing the Rocket 5ac radios. They are also compatible with RocketM5 models, although optimal performance requires the Rocket 5ac.
Breakthrough Performance
The airMAX ac sector antennas are extremely resistant to disruptive noise in co-location deployments. The innovative deflector design and reduced side and back lobes prevent interference from other nearby transmitters—even those on the same tower. An improved signal-to-noise ratio allows for higher modulation, 256QAM instead of 16QAM. This increases bits per second for a fixed bandwidth. Thanks to the innovative design, the airMAX sector antennas provide higher gain and better beam performance for capacity-intensive multipoint networks.
