Double protection against external interference (S/FTP). The CAT7 network cable from TRU Components is multiple shielded. The twisted pairs are wrapped in metal foil, and the entire cable is surrounded by a dense wire mesh. This high-quality shielding protects against external interferences such as parallel power cables and ensures reliable data transmission even under adverse conditions.

Data transmission using CCA (Aluminum). CCA refers to bi-metallic single and multi-core cables with a copper-plated aluminum core for higher frequency applications. The skin effect, also known as current displacement, is a physical phenomenon caused by higher frequency alternating currents. The current density inside the conductor decreases with increasing frequency compared to that on the outer surface. The inner cross-sectional area of a conductor carrying high-frequency alternating current practically has no transmission function. Therefore, the network cable - CCA represents a truly cost-effective and weight-reduced alternative to conventional solid copper cables, while maintaining equivalent performance and transmission characteristics.
