The adjustable step-down converter W78-ADJ is the smart solution when flexibility, efficiency, and safety are a priority. You can freely choose the output voltage within a range of 3.3 V to 12 V/DC. Only a slightly higher input voltage is required for this. The switch-mode regulator outperforms standard linear regulators (e.g., 78xx or LM 317) in terms of power loss at high input voltages. External components, heat sinks, or a base load are not necessary. The switch-mode regulator can be operated with either direct or alternating current. It features an internal soft start, mandatory over-temperature protection, and is protected against short circuits on the output side.
