2.5GBASE-T PCIe Network Adapter

The TRENDnet 2.5GBASE-T PCIe Network Adapter, model TEG-25GECTX, converts an available PCI Express slot into a 2.5GBASE-T Ethernet port. The 2.5G network adapter includes advanced features such as Jumbo Frame and VLAN tagging support. The 2.5G network adapter is compatible with Windows and Linux desktop computer designs and includes both standard and low-profile brackets.

2.5G Port

The 2.5G network adapter supports three speeds: 2.5 Gbps, 1 Gbps, and 100 Mbps.

Jumbo Frame

Send larger packets or Jumbo Frames (up to 9 KB) for improved performance.

Operating Systems

Compatible with Windows, Windows Server, and Linux operating systems.

PCI Express

Converts a PCIe 2.0 x1 slot into a 2.5G Ethernet port.

Supports 2.5GBASE-T

The 2.5GBASE-T specification (802.3bz) supports 2.5G speeds over standard Cat5e cables at distances up to 100 meters.

Supports VLAN

2.5G network adapter with IEEE 802.1Q tag-based VLAN support.

Brackets

Supports most installation scenarios with included standard and low-profile brackets.
