Gigabit Switch
Power users at home, in the office, in a workgroup, or in a creative production environment can now transfer large, bandwidth-intensive files more quickly. Send documents, programs, or multimedia files over the network without delay at speeds of up to 2000 MBit/s in full duplex mode.

Power over Ethernet
Four of the eight auto-sensing RJ45 ports (Ports 1 to 4) of the switch support Power over Ethernet (PoE). These PoE ports can automatically detect PoE-compatible network devices and supply power to IEEE802.3af Powered Devices (PDs). The electrical power is transmitted along with the data over a single cable, allowing the network to be expanded where there are no power lines or outlets.

Intelligent Power Management
Once the total power consumption of the PoE-powered devices is greater than or equal to 57 W, priorities are assigned among the PoE ports. To protect the system from overload, a decision is then made to either distribute the power or shut off the power supply at the port with the lowest priority.
