Christmas is just around the corner. Together with his three elves Trixi, Jordi, and Gilfi, Santa Claus fulfills children's Christmas wishes all over the world. They are supported by the polar bear Balbo. However, the grumpy Grantelbart is not a fan of Christmas at all. With his assistant, the troll Gugor, he repeatedly tries to sabotage the holiday.

Just as Santa has received the first wish lists for this year's Christmas celebration, Grantelbart steals the toy-making machine. Not only that, but the magical pearl, essential for toy creation, is also destroyed. In their quest to save Christmas, Santa and his elves must search for a new magical pearl in a mysterious crystal cave.

To make matters worse, Rudolph, the youngest reindeer in the sleigh team, is misled by Grantelbart. He secretly heads to Glacierland, where a little Inuit boy has wished for a reindeer for Christmas. But without Rudolph, the gifts cannot be delivered. Can the elves bring him back in time, and how will the little boy still have his Christmas wish for a reindeer fulfilled?.
