Of course, Lotta can ride a bike: Lotta is almost five years old and eagerly wishes for a bicycle for her birthday. She only has an old tricycle, which she can't ride properly. On her birthday, she receives many lovely gifts, but no bicycle. Lotta is disappointed and starts to think about how she can get her dream bike.

Lotta moves out: Lotta from Krachmacherstrasse is supposed to wear her grandma's scratchy sweater - this makes her really angry, and she cuts a big hole in the sweater. She quickly decides to move out of her home, but not far away. Just to Aunt Berg next door, because she wants to see how sad everyone is when they no longer have Lotta around.
