Das TomTom GO 50 ist ein Navi mit guter Ansage, einer gelungenen Routenführung und auch die Handhabung zeigt sich hier als gelungen. Das Navi ist gut verarbeitet und auch die Ausstattung zeigt sich vielseitig. Die Nutzungsdauer mit Akku ist hingegen nicht sonderlich lang und auch lässt sich das Modell bei der Routenberechnung etwas viel Zeit.

Im Einsteigersegment ist das 50er Modell trotz günstigem Preis sehr gut aufstellt. Dabei ist ein lebenslanger Kartenupdatedienst ebenso Teil der Ausstattung wie auch ein kostenfreier Live Dienst. Zwar ist das Display nicht von sonderlich hoher Güte aber für den Preis dennoch sehr solide. Die Routenführung sowie die Berechnung dieser ist ebenfalls tadellos.

Und zwar wegen der guten Echtzeitverkehrslageinformationen TomTom Traffic, die den Verkehrslagedaten von TMC deutlich überlegen sind und insbesondere auch abseits der Autobahnen gut lotsen. Insofern eignet sich das TomTom Go 50 gut für Autofahrer, die häufig unter Zeitdruck ihre Ziele erreichen müssen...
