Product details

The Kenko Teleplus HD DGX 1.4X Canon EOS is a lightweight extension for DSLR equipment, weighing only 111 grams. This Teleplus converter increases the focal length of the combined lens by a factor of 1.4. Compared to its predecessor, optical performance has been improved, and it ensures that the effective values (even with zoom lenses) and the working aperture are recorded in the image's EXIF data.

The Kenko Teleplus HD DGX 1.4x can be used with both manual and autofocus lenses. The minimum aperture should be at least f4 to achieve optimal results. The Teleplus is compatible with TTL (through-the-lens metering) and AE (automatic exposure control). When using the Teleplus 1.4x, the lens's aperture is reduced by one stop. This loss of light intensity is automatically compensated for by adjusting to the resulting smaller aperture (e.g., from 2.8 to 4). Photography is possible without making special adjustments; however, depending on the subject and other photographic conditions, exposure corrections may be necessary.
