Part 1: Lightning McQueen is a very fast race car. Although he is still a rookie, he is already good enough to compete as one of three in a tiebreaker race for the Piston Cup. However, on his way to this race, McQueen falls out of the transporter, gets lost, races through a picturesque little town, flattens a monument, and damages the road. He must repair this damage before he is allowed to continue. Along the way, he meets the legendary race car Hudson Hornet and the beautiful Porsche Sally. But what will happen to the tiebreaker race?

Part 2: Secret agents live dangerously, especially when sinister cars possess a new special weapon and an unknown boss pulls the strings from behind the scenes. Lightning McQueen has nothing to do with this world of agents. He is looking forward to the World Grand Prix, a very special race, which his friends from Radiator Springs will accompany him to. But then the special weapon appears at the racetrack, and Lightning's rusty friend Hook meets Agent McMissile and his lovely assistant.
