Tiffen 52mm Circular Polarizer

Polarizers enhance color and contrast. Reflected light often appears as a whitish glare that overshadows the colors in an image. A polarizer solves this problem and creates deep blue, dramatic skies. It also removes glare from non-metallic surfaces, such as windows and water. Color saturation, especially outdoors, can be significantly improved.

Polarizer/Circular Polarizer:

A circular polarizer has the same effect as a polarizer and is used with cameras that have beam-splitting exposure metering systems, commonly found in autofocus DSLRs.

Area of the sky that is most effectively polarized with a circular polarizer:
Point your index finger at the sun. With your thumb extended at a right angle (90°), rotate it around the axis of your index finger. This indicates the area of the deepest blue from horizon to horizon.

Combines the benefits of the linear polarizer with the warming effect of the 812 color warming filter, making it ideal for portraits and landscape photography.
