Center Spot. This is a special application filter that has a moderate degree of diffusion around a clear central area. It is used to isolate the main subject, which remains sharp in the clear center, while the distracting background remains diffuse, especially in situations where a telephoto lens and depth-of-field differentiation are not possible. Ideal for portrait or product applications.
