The Thorens turntables are at the forefront of HiFi technology, extracting even the finest details from your valuable vinyl records. The signals from the cartridge systems are so small that they need to be amplified significantly. However, many amplifiers today no longer include a dedicated phono input. For this reason, we have set out to develop a phono preamplifier that does not diminish the excellent playback characteristics of the Thorens turntables but instead processes the signals in perfect quality for the preamplifier.

The TEP 302 is a pure Class-A amplifier. It uses only selected operational amplifiers that are extremely low in noise. The circuit layout has been acoustically optimized through multiple stages of listening tests. Of course, a 15 Hz subsonic filter is also built-in, protecting your speakers from excessive movement caused by warps in the records.
