Fifty years ago, Thomastik Infeld was the first string manufacturer in the world to successfully produce viola strings with a synthetic core made from the finest nylon threads. Since 1970, playing techniques and sound concepts have continuously evolved. The demand for a Dominant-like viola string set that expands the possibilities of existing strings has grown increasingly louder. In response to this demand, Thomastik-Infeld launched the Dominant Pro. The set consists of the following individual strings:
